Raking leaves has always been my least favorite household chore. For one thing, it always seemed like as soon as you finished, more leaves had fallen (see also, shoveling snow). For another it was painfully boring and doing it in the days before the existence of podcasts seems unfathomable now. Long boring activities were made for podcasts. Ira Glass would have made my pre-teen Saturday morning raking way more tolerable. Well a couple guys found a different way to take care of their leaves, and it involves fire. Is it recommended? No. It's terrible for your health and the environment, and in many places is illegal. So don't do it. But watch these guys do it because somehow—and I have to imagine there are things other than leaves at play here—they've turned burning leaves into a special effect worthy of a big-budget action movie.

Again, do not do this. It is a bad idea. That means you, Michael Bay. I don't care how cool it looks. I don't care how "bitchin'" or "badass" it is. Just resist. Use them for compost or something. The world will be better for it.
