Two footballers have been named as victims of the horrific Shoreham Airshow plane crash.

Matthew Grimstone and Jacob Schilt have both been named locally as two more victims of the Hawker Hunter plane crash yesterday.

Both young men play for Worthing United FC. Matthew plays in goal while Jacob is a midfielder.

The club is due to make an announcement this morning.

Paying tribute to the young men, Gary Elphick, manager of rival team Worthing FC, told the Telegraph: "It's just devastating news.

"We're a football family on the South Coast so we're all trying to pull together. These were two great young lads who have been taken from us far too soon."

News of the men's deaths come after it was revealed this morning that 24-year-old personal trainer Matt Jones was among the dead.

The tragic news was revealed by his grieving sister Becky Jones on Facebook.
