You know those movie scenes where somebody gets shot but they’re fine because there was a bible or something in their pocket acting as body armor? Here’s a little experiment with the, uh, modern equivalent. Or maybe just an excuse to shoot a gun at a stack of iPhones.
Popular Mechanics found this little experiment orchestrated by EverythingApplePro, who put a bunch of new iPhones and a Samsung Galaxy in a line and summarily executed them with an AK-74 sport utility rifle. Not to be confused with its more prolific predecessor the AK-47, the ‘74 basically shoots faster and further.
But if you really hate iPhones, or just love watching stuff get destroyed, skip ahead to 03:10 when they bring out the solid-slug-loaded 12-gauge shotgun.
