It’s hard to be a licensed participant of a sporting event, as Austria Wien’s mascot “Super Leo” is, and still be considered an Idiot On The Field. But for this guy—who is so drunk at the conclusion of a game that he needs help even standing—we’ll make an exception.

So what gives, right? According to this article in an Austrian paper, the man behind the mask celebrated his 42nd birthday before the game at the local Löwenfest, or “Lion Festival.” He went a little too hard there, then continued getting throwed during the match, leaving him in the pitiful state you see above.
